Who I am
This site is run by Lee, a UK voter. Not a company, not a charity, not a CIC, not a political party. The contact address is hello@fairfoodpricing.co.uk.
What I collect
Nothing personal. To be specific:
- Postcode (only when you use the MP finder). Your postcode is sent from your browser to postcodes.io (a free non-profit) to find your constituency, and the constituency name is then sent to the UK Parliament Members service. Neither call goes through me. Nothing is stored on this site.
- Letter contents. The letter is built in your browser using JavaScript. Your name, your town, anything you write — none of it is ever sent to me.
- IP address in edge logs. Like every site, mine is served from a CDN (Cloudflare). Their edge logs hold IP addresses for up to 7 days for abuse prevention. I do not read those logs and I cannot tie an IP to a person.
What I do not do
- No cookies. Not even one. Open the dev tools and check.
- No Google Analytics, Plausible, Cabin or any other analytics product.
- No Facebook pixel, no Twitter embeds, no LinkedIn Insight tag, no TikTok.
- No Google Fonts at runtime. The fonts are self-hosted on this domain.
- No email list, no signup form, no newsletter.
Your rights
UK GDPR gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, and complaint. Because there is nothing held on you here, most of those rights are met by default. If you want to check, email hello@fairfoodpricing.co.uk.
How to complain
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at any time — ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Accessibility
The site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. If you hit a barrier — a contrast issue, a missing label, anything that gets in your way — email hello@fairfoodpricing.co.uk and I will fix it. Based on the AbilityNet model accessibility statement.
Updates to this notice
If anything material changes — for example, if I ever did start collecting emails — I will say so plainly at the top of this page, with a new “last updated” date.
